Brexit: My appeal to Mr Juncker and Barnier – ‘Do yourselves and us a favour’!
In the European Parliament on Tuesday 3rd October I had a whole two minute speech in the debate on ‘The state of negotiations with the UK’.
Two minutes is twice as long as I am normally allocated, and I could have made a lot more points, but I did make one important point, which is: why doesn’t the EU just make it easy for the UK to leave so that we can pursue our very different aspirations? It makes more sense than just trying to sabotage Brexit.
